The BMO Sustainable Opportunities Global Equity Strategy seeks to invest in companies making a positive contribution towards a more sustainable world. This includes, but is not limited to, a focus on companies whose products and services contribute substantially to one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), without significantly harming any of the others. We consider business conduct, in the believe that how companies manage operational and strategic issues day-to-day is an important indicator of long-term sustainability and stakeholder value creation. We also consider companies that have the potential and ambition to make a significantly positive contribution in the future, and are on a clear pathway to doing so.
